What inspired you to start your Instagram profile?
My Instagram has always been a place for me to share my daily life with the world. I started to gain an incredibly loyal following when I made a shift towards fitness and wellness. 

What do you love about what you do?
I love helping people. I love that the experiences I've had, the lessons I've learnt and the knowledge I've gained can now help to fast track others on the same path. I love knowing I can be the support for someone that I never had.

What does a bad day look like for you? And how do you move on from that?
I would very rarely refer to a day overall as being "bad", but I too have days where I everything I set out to do fails. I go through a process where I assess how long I will be affected or impacted if I choose not to react negatively. For example, if someone cuts me off in traffic: If I choose to honk, yell, swear, and chase them down the road, then I'll probably have a few angry minutes in my day. But if I choose not to react, what's done is already done, it is no longer going to affect my present moment or future unless I let it. Bad moments don't need to drag out into bad days. But hey, on the rare occasion they do, that's what a nice glass of red is for!

What is the most important advice you can give on Mindfulness and Positive Thinking?
The most important step is always the first one: accepting responsibility. Once we accept responsibility to take control of how we see the world, and ourselves, we can start making positive changes. It doesn't happen overnight. Mindfulness and positive thinking isn't a decision, it's a practice. My 30 day guide gives activities, tools and resources to set you on a path of daily practice.

What does your personal meditation routine look like?
I always start my mornings with a good stretch. I lay in bed and stretch my whole body. I go through a short 5-10 minute meditation routine and then I get up and set my intentions for the day. In the after I've done yoga, I'll meditate a little longer. Maybe about 20 minutes. If I'm feeling off balance or want to seek clarity on a situation, or even after a period of drastic change, I will dedicate a full day to solitude and meditation. I will travel to a secluded forest or a remote beach and practice yoga for about 2-3 hours before a 1-2 hour meditation. I can quite easily spend 5 or more hours practicing yoga and meditation if I'm alone in nature.

For those new to meditation, how do you get over the mental hurdle of starting?
I often come across people who tell me they haven't tried it because they'll just be doing it wrong! There is no right or wrong. Again, it is all about practice. Guided meditations are the perfect starting point. There are a ton of free resources out there to help people get started. Jump on YouTube or find an app. Five minutes alone is all you need!

What do you do when you're not working?
If I'm not working, I'm usually taking part in some form of study. As well as conducting my online courses, I also enrol in a lot too. I love to learn. It's the same with writing. I write for a living and I read for fun! However, when I need to step away from screens and books, you can usually find me relaxing at the beach, hiking around waterfalls, or jumping on a plane to another destination with beaches and waterfalls!

What is your absolute favourite holiday destination?
Believe it or not, I'm actually not yet well travelled! At the moment I'm back and forth between Australia, United States and Indonesia. Considering there has been three trips to Bali within five months, I'll have to say Bali has stolen my heart. Bali has breathtaking natural landscapes, with mountains, volcanoes, jungles, tropical beaches and an abundance of waterfalls everywhere in between. 

Who would be your perfect dinner party guest?
Anyone with a deeply intellectual mind, a quick wit, and a great sense of humour.

Bush walk, Shopping trip or Lunch out with friends?
Definitely a bush walk or lunch with friends! Walking or hiking in nature is one of my main pastimes and good food in good company is something I'll always treasure. 

Do you have a favourite Moon and Stone piece?
It's so hard to choose one! I absolutely adore my Cressida ring, but I also love the simple elegance of my Bubble Stud earrings coupled with my Orbit necklace - so glam!
